ORGANISATIONAL OBJECTIVES

​Our organizational objectives are aligned our goals to support community development through partnerships. As such we define our objectives as follows:     

• To promote, support and implement social, environmental and economic development initiatives
• To encourage the entrepreneurial spirit through social and eco-friendly enterprise development
• To conduct and support community-based research with stakeholders
• To protect biodiversity and the environment in all its forms by helping to prevent pollution and abuse of the earth's ocean, land, air and fresh water through advocacy

 
Jamaica Environmental and Entrepreneurs Advocacy Network (JEEAN) areas of interventions include:

• Natural Resources Use and Management
• Environmental Education
• Pollution Control
• Ecosystem Services
• Water Resources Management
• Food Security
• Youth in Environmental Issues
• Social Entrepreneurship engaged in addressing environmental/ecological issues
• Local and Community Based Agriculture

How we work:

• We are a team comprising of volunteers with background in different disciplines.
• We are aware of issues directly or indirectly affecting communities in particularly geographic communities, youths and gender based and thematic centered groups. The priority areas of concern eventually come from the communities themselves.
• We will work with any community especially if no other organization is currently doing so.
• We assist communities and other stakeholders with proposal development, implementation and monitoring.
• We use community appropriate tools of engagement and mobilization.
• Working through partnerships with communities and other stakeholder to facilitate community development, entrepreneurship, conservation of the Environment and Biodiversity.
• We work with Individuals to build capacity and character.
• We work with cooperation to link them with those most in need of their services and outreach to make the most impact
